Dit is standaardprocedure voor de meeste publicaties, met als doel dat de inhoud een weergave is van de best practice binnen het betreffende vakgebied. Dit biedt de lezers de zekerheid dat iedere publicatie een weergave biedt van de laatste ontwikkelingen, breed gedragen opvattingen, enz. De auteurs en redacteuren zijn werkzaam in het bedrijfsleven, de academische wereld, of zij zijn onafhankelijke vakspecialisten.

Leif Andersson
Leif Andersson has worked with IT since 1990 and in management roles since 1997. He has worked as both CIO and CTO and is the founder of illumin8 working in ITSM consulting and training in Sweden. Leif has translated the ABC of ICT deck of cards into Swedishand he is holder of the ITIL Expert certificate.

Ralf Asche
Ralf Asche, beschäftigt sich seit 1999/2000 mit dem Thema international anerkannte “Best Practice” Management-Methoden und deren Integration zur Wertschöpfung. Er ist als einer der ersten deutschen zertifizierten ITIL®-Service Manager und ITIL®-Expert als Trainer, Management Consultant und Coach in diesem Bereich aktiv.
Ralf Asche besitzt über 15 Jahr Erfahrung, in den unterschiedlichsten Branchen, im Bereich Projektmanagement und Service Management. Als zertifizierter PRINCE2®, ITIL®, COBIT® und ISO® 20.000 Trainer setzt sich Ralf Asche intensiv mit dem Thema “interaktive Lernmethoden“ auseinander, die seine folienfreien Management-Seminare bereits entscheidend geprägt haben.
Als Vorreiter machte Ralf Asche interaktive Simulationen in Deutschland salonfähig. Er ist einer der erfahrensten Simulationsleiter der Projektmanagement Simulation „The Challenge of Egypt“, die auf der Projektmanagement Methode PRINCE2® basiert.
Seit 2008 leitet der gebürtige Kölner das Schulungs- und Beratungsunternehmen “Service Management Gate GmbH“ als Geschäftsführer. Ralf Asche ist aktives Mitglied im itSMF Deutschland e.V., PRINCE2 Deutschland e.V., ISACA Germany Chapter e.V., und der Akademie für neurowissenschaftliches Bildungsmanagement -AFNB-.

Robert Benyon
Robert Benyon is a lecturer and PhD candidate in the Department of Information Systems at Rhodes University. His Masters thesis “An Investigation of a Framework for the Implementation of Service Management in the Information and Communication Technology Sector” and that of Rob Johnston, “A Model for the Development of Service Agreements in the Information and Communication Technology Sector” formed the basis for an itSMF book: Service Agreements – A Management Guide.
His PhD thesis “An Investigation of Service Management Implementation in the Information and Communication Technology Sector” explores the difficulties associated with translating a Service Management strategy into action. This research focuses specifically on the problems associated with implementing strategies and the solutions to these problems.

Erik Beulen
Prof. dr. Erik Beulen (The Netherlands) has more than fifteen years experience in outsourcing including offshore outsourcing. He holds the Accenture Global Sourcing Chair at Tilburg University and is a senior manager at Accenture responsible for Application Outsourcing. He has a large number of journal publications and book publications in including an upcoming cartoon on outsourcing.
He authored the Dutch Van Haren Best Practice title Outsourcing van IT – Management guide.

Simon Bos
Simon Bos (The Netherlands) is director of Bos + Cohen Strategie Adviseurs. Simon brought the British Standard 15000 (later ISO/IEC 20000) in 2002 to the Netherlands to promote. He is a member of the itSMF International Qualification and Certification Group and author of the book Practical guide IT Service Management in accordance with ISO/IEC 20000 (Dutch). He is a permanent author/reviewer for IT Management Magazine (Dutch) with a book section ‘Printed matter’ and a designer for EXIN courses and exams.
His company is an independent service management specialist that ensures the success of IT projects. Jeroen Bronkhorst
Jeroen Bronkhorst is a member of the ITIL V3 authoring team and author of integrated ITIL V3 models that are used in “the official introduction to the ITIL service lifecycle”. Jeroen has more than 17 years of work experience, joined HP in 1997 and is the lead authority for the HP Service Management Framework (based on ITIL V3 and other standards) as well as the HP ITSM Reference Model built around ITIL V2.
Jeroen currently holds the role of Chief Strategist and is responsible for thought leadership, frameworks, methods and standards usage across all HP Consulting and Integration practices and market offerings worldwide. In addition he is a strategic trusted advisor to the worldwide HP Consulting and Integration leadership team. Jeroen is also a certified ITIL Service Manager and member of the Publications Executive Sub-Committee within itSMF Netherlands.
In collaboration with Jeroen Wiebolt, Jeroen is author of ‘Rapidly designing detailed IT processes – Business process management concepts applied to IT service management’ in the itSMF publication IT Service Management Global Best Practices.
Peter Brooks
Peter H.M. Brooks B.Sc (FISM) worked for Hewlett-Packard for twenty years in various capacities, mainly in the UK, but also in South Africa and New Zealand. He is an independent consultant in Service Management as well as a certified ITIL trainer. He is a Fellow of the Institute of IT Service Management (FISM) and author of the itSMF Library book ‘Metrics for IT Service Management’. He is a Director on the board of the itSMF.
Peter is married and lives in Cape Town

Christine V. Bullen
Christine Bullen is a faculty member at the Howe School of Management, Stevens Institute of Technology where she is the director of the four-course concentration/major in IT Outsourcing in the MSIS and MBA programs and the coordinator of the capstone course in strategic issues in IT. She is currently conducting research on the IT workforce as part of a team of academics under the sponsorship of the Society for Information Management (SIM). She is developing an IT Workforce Decision Model looking at the impact of sourcing strategy on the in-house needs for IT skills.
She earned her PhD from Stevens Institute and her MS from MIT, where she served as the Assistant Director of the MIT Center for Information Systems Research (CISR) for 17 years. She is an active member of AIS, the New York Chapter of SIM, INFORMS, and the IAOP. Christine is currently serving as a reviewer for U.S. Department of Commerce National Telecommunications and Information Administration on BTOP (Broadband Technology Opportunities Program), which is an essential component of President Obama’s broadband strategy.
Dr. Bullen has co-authored and contributed to eight books and numerous articles in the areas of impacts of outsourcing on the IT workforce, computer-supported cooperative work, electronic communications, critical success factors, managing the I/S function, in a variety of journals, including CAIS, MIS Quarterly, IBM Systems Journal, Harvard Business Review, Auerbach Publications, and MIT CISR working papers.

Alan Calder
Alan Calder is a leading author on information security and IT governance issues. He is chief executive of IT Governance Limited and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CEME, a public-private sector skills partnership.
Alan is an international authority on ISO27001 (formerly BS7799), the international security standard. He is author of the titles Information Security based on ISO 27001/ISO 17799 and Implementing Information Security based on ISO 27001/ISO 17799.
Alan is a frequent media commentator on information security and IT governance issues, and has contributed articles and expert comment to a wide range of trade, national and online news outlets.
Alan was previously CEO of Wide Learning, a supplier of e-learning; of Focus Central London, a training and enterprise council; and of Business Link London City Partners, a government agency focused on helping growing businesses to develop. He was a member of the Information Age Competitiveness Working Group of the UK Government’s Department for Trade & Industry, and was until recently a member of the DNV Certification Services Certification Committee, which certifies compliance with international standards including ISO27001.

Jacques A. Cazemier
Jacques Cazemier has extensive knowledge and experiences of Information Security and Business Continuity Management.
Over the years he has been involved in strategic, organizational and planning aspects of both subjects. He advises organizations like insurance companies, banks, local government and health care about structural implementation.
Besides this he lectured on Master of Security of Information Technology and Master of Information Security Management and he is a guest lecturer at Fontys and Saxion universities of applied sciences.
Jacques has been involved in the introduction of ISO 27002 (formerly BS7799) in The Netherlands. He is one of the authors of the original ITIL Security Management book of ‘ Information Security Management with ITIL V3’ and publishes in journals and on the web.
Enzo Ciriello
Enzo Ciriello (The Netherlands) is Senior Solution Architect at Mansystems Nederland B.V. and specializes in telecom processes. Enzo has been working for Mansystems for over thirteen years and is one of the founders of the Service Management product ExpertDesk.
Enzo was on the authoring team of ‘Managing IT chains in large organizations: A transition process’ in the itSMF publication IT Service Management Global Best Practices.

David Clifford
David Clifford is recognized as one of the world’s leading authorities on ISO/IEC 20000. He is a regular speaker at international events managed by organizations such as the itSMF and EXIN. David is the author of the itSMF International endorsed publication ‘Implementing ISO/IEC 20000 – the roadmap’.
He assisted the itSMF in establishing their certification scheme for ISO/IEC 20000 including auditing the auditors on their behalf. He has also been the prime consultant supporting the initiation and development of the EXIN/TÜV SÜD Akademie service management qualification program aligned to ISO/IEC 20000.
His knowledge, experience and contribution to the ITSM industry have been formally recognized by the award of ‘Fellow’ status by the Institute of IT Service Management.
David has worked in the arena of business, IT applications and IT service management supporting multi-billion dollar initiatives on a global scale.
He is Head of the Consulting Practice at PRO-ATTIVO Limited which is a global consultancy and training company.
Marghanita da Cruz
Marghanita is Principal Consultant & Director of Ramin Communications Pty Ltd, with over 25 years experience in implementing IT in the public and private sectors, in large, small and community organizations.
Marghanita authored the chapter ‘AS 8015-2005 – Australian Standard for Corporate Governance of IT in the ITSM Library title ‘Frameworks for IT Management’.
Steven De Haes
Steven De Haes (Belgium) is responsible for the Information Systems Management executive programs and research at the University of Antwerp Management School. Steven is also managing director of the Information Technology and Alignment (ITAG) Research Institute and is actively involved in the development of best practices frameworks CobiT and VALIT.
In conjunction with Wim Van Grembergen, Steven is co-author of ‘IT Balanced Scorecard’ in the ITSM library title Frameworks for IT Management and ‘Best Practices in IT governance and alignment’ in the itSMF publication IT Service Management Global Best Practices.

Rob England
Rob England (New Zealand) is an IT consultant and the owner of Two Hills Ltd. His interests include IT service management, governance, internet communities and commerce, and professional development. He is best known as The IT Skeptic, a critical voice in the ITSM community.
Rob authored ‘Visions of the future: The IT Swami’s seven visions of the future of ITIL’ in the ITSM Library publication ‘IT Service Management Global Best Practices’.

Adam Grummitt
Director of Metron, chairman of UKCMG and now a Director of CMG (USA)
Adam has been playing with computers since graduating from Cambridge way back. Doing research in mass spectrometry he used a PDP-8 and early IBM mainframes. He has since been an analyst, designer and programmer for end-users, software houses and as a consultant. He has been in performance management and capacity planning for many years, specializing in performance engineering. He is a founding Director of Metron and now does international strategic consultancy. He has been on the executive of UKCMG and itSMF, gives workshops on capacity management worldwide and is a well-known speaker at many CMG international chapters.
Kars Hadderingh
Kars Hadderingh (The Netherlands) is Chain Manager at @Home B.V. and is responsible for the incident chain. Kars has been working within the cable and telecommunications arena for over ten years, with a special interest in chain and process management.
Kars was on the authoring team of ‘Managing IT chains in large organizations: A transition process’ in the itSMF publication IT Service Management Global Best Practices.

Oscar Halfhide
Oscar Halfhide is a senior consultant Sourcing Management at EQUATERRA, incorporating Morgan Chambers, an independent outsourcing advisory firm. As a professional, he specializes in topics such as Sourcing, Procurement, Demand/Supply Management and professionalizing IT organizations in general.
In addition to his job, Oscar is active in, and has contacts with, several profession-related communities, (inter)national interest groups and educational entities. He publicizes, and teaches on several IT-related topics.
During 2003 – 2006 he was, on behalf of the Information Services Procurement Group, a steering member in the ITB, a collaboration of several IT profession communities. Prior to EQUATERRA he has operated as a Principal Consultant at LogicaCMG and was former Information Manager of a major Transport and Logistics division.
Oscar is author of ‘Outsourcing: To be, or not to be in control, that is the question’ in the itSMF publication IT Service Management Global Best Practices.
Ken Hamilton
Ken Hamilton is founder and Past-Chairman of itSMF USA and currently a Director with HP Education. Ken was awarded the 2004 itSMF USA Life-time Achievement award for his contributions to the ITIL community.
He was founder and President of ManageOne, a leading ITIL and IT service management training and consulting company acquired by HP in May 2004. Ken Hamilton has over 20 years of experience in IT, is a certified IT Service Manager and has led the development of IT Service Management methods and ITIL/MOF best practices in the US.
Ken is the author of ‘The next ROI frontier – The IT Service Lifecycle (ITIL V3)’ in the itSMF publication IT Service Management Global Best Practices.
Kevin Holland
Kevin is the Head of Service Quality Improvement for the National Health Service (United Kingdom) and has over 10 years experience in all areas of IT service management.
Kevin’s background is in world class IT and manufacturing companies, and he has particular interest in Service Transition and Continual Service Improvement. He is a member of the ITSM examination boards for APMG and ISEB.e
Kevin is author of ‘How will the relevance and importance of IT service management change over the next five years?’ in the itSMF publication IT Service Management Global Best Practices.

Brian Johnson
Brian Johnson joined CA Technology Services in 2004 and is the Worldwide Practice Manager with specialization in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Brian joined CA after leaving key leadership roles as the Director of Product Development in Pink Elephant (one of the world’s leading ITIL organizations dedicated to ITIL best practices) and Director of Knowledge Management for the UK’s Office of Government Commerce.
Brian was part of the UK Government team that created the ITIL approach. Working for the UK’s Central Computer and Telecom Agency (now part of the Office of Government Commerce), Brian authored many of the ITIL books and designed both the ITIL business perspective series and version two of ITIL. He founded the ITIL user group (itSMF–and is an Honorary Life Vice President). His version one book Software Lifecycle Support, written with software testing guru Richard Warden covered the roles of IT operations and development in designing IT services, one of the central tenet’s of the version three ITIL books.
Brian has authored, or co-authored, more than 20 titles on ITIL, project management and related subjects. Putting theory into practice, he led both the first successful government implementation of ITIL best practices at National Savings, as well as one of the first private-sector examples at General Accident.
Ir. A.G. (Ton) Kroon
Ton Kroon is (The Netherlands) executive business consultant for Atos Consulting and specializes in consulting or interim management engagements dealing with IT governance and/or IT Service Management.
Ton Kroon is co-author of ‘A new paradigm for IT governance in the extended enterprise’ in the itSMF publication IT Service Management Global Best Practices.
Glenn LeClair
Glenn LeClair (Canada) has been consulting to a wide variety of public and private sector organizations since 1986. Acting as both an internal and external advisor, he has focused on the creation of value from projects. As ITIL Service Manager and Senior Solutions Architect with HP Consulting and Integration, he delivers Best Practice principles to the next generation of IT professionals. Glenn is a member of the Institute of Service Management (MISM) and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).

Richard (Dick) LeFave
Richard (Dick) LeFave, an EMC Consulting Advisor founded a consulting firm in May 2008 that specializes in executive level Information Technology (IT) strategies and transformations. The company, D&L Partners, LLC has completed engagements with CIOs and executive teams in various high tech companies related to sourcing, strategic organization and IT transformations. He has been engaged in due diligence efforts and is an active advisor to Wall Street analysts on IT related topics. His background of over 30 years in the IT space coupled with over 15 years as a CIO for Fortune 1,000 and Fortune 50 companies has provided LeFave with a sound background to advise corporate boards on IT related engagements and IT effectiveness.
Robert Matthews
Robert Matthews (USA) is the Principal Consultant for Siemens IT Solutions and Services, Inc.
He has an executive management background in IT operations, internal and external consulting, and specializes in IT service management and IT sourcing consulting.

Vernon L. Palango
Vern Palango is the ITSM Practice Manager at InteQ in Bedford, MA, where he is responsible for the delivery and design of the overall ITSM practice. He has over 25 years of IT experience as IT Director, Data Center Manager, NSM Consultant and IT Architect. During his career, Vern has perfected his expertise in the following areas: ITSM (IT Service Management) strategies, ITIL processes, NSM (Network and System Management solutions, Server and Database Architecture, and IT Automation development. Over the past several years, he has managed external customer and IT process consulting engagements utilizing ITSM/ITIL practices. He is certified as ITIL Service Manager (IT Master/ITIL Expert) V2/V3.
